Maybe if you do business there, you pay war fees? (Sort of like a turnpike fee.)

  1. They'll borrow, then leave Dems to clean up their messes later.

  2. They want to borrow the money from the central banks that create instant interest debt to the country.  Why?  Look where the interest goes as more money is loaned from the central banks.  You will find that this money may go to some "friends".  War is a good thing for these people!   That is my conspiracy response for the day!

  3. I have news for you ww2 isn't paid for, what was FDR and Harry thinking

  4. By borrowing from other countries?

I mean, it's not like America is the deepest in debt it's ever been, right? Right???

  5. We have a cookie drive sorta like the girl scouts.  Be sure to give freely when we come knocking.  We also have pickle jars set up at all the convenience stores. Again, please give freely and support your favorite war.

  6. Evidently it's borrowing from an economic competitor.

  7. By taking spoils like the Romans did.

You know, the way we got all the Iraqi oil.

  8. It's not that the pro-victory crowd doesn't know that taxes are necessary.  We just don't think they should go to help farmers store their excess peanuts.

  9. They make money by stealing it from the poor.

They slash education, health, housing, welfare, social security.

  10. The Republicans don't want to pay taxes themselves, at least the very wealthy do not. The want the middle class to pay all of the country's taxes while they, the Elite get tax breaks and write- offs by the men they paid the Lobbyists to get elected. The next step is to start a war and send our troops into combat with very little combat training and even fewer essentials, like protective gear and bomb proof vehicles. But so what, these are just the poor kids who go because they are promised an education and couldn't get it without taking out a lifetime of debt in student loans. Or they are poor immigrants who have been promised citizenship papers for joining Bush's war. Their are few Elitists children who face combat unless they have political ambitions or will go in as Officers, and seldom as Grunts.

When there isn't enough money to support this war, the republicans will borrow billions from a communist country that hates us, and that the middle class will have to pay back for generations- with interest. So, in essence, we the middle class, are paying the taxes for the wealthy. How does it feel middle class citizens, to look at your pay check and see that one half of it is paying for the taxes of Big Oil companies who s***w you again at the gas pump?

We need to stop congress and our politician from taking campaign money, gifts and trips from Lobbyists.

McCain is being bought and paid for by Lobbyists, check it out for your selves before you vote. McCain only will be more of the same if not worse, because he is not as smart as Bush. Well, that is what the repubs thought back in 2001.

    Peace

  11. By reducing welfare spending that dems are so in to?

  12. This is not a Republican problem or a Democratic problem it is a national problem and they are both in on the solution. Neither party hides the fact that military expenditures are not completely covered by the approved budget. Cost overruns are then posted against the subsequent year's accounting to conceal their effect, however; they do not conceal the nature or the severity of the expenditure.

That being written one has to look at the big picture to see how you pay for a war. War like any business effects the economy. It has to be fought through an access. Access costs money. Money goes to whoever who want armaments. Armaments cost money. Money gets taxed. The army needs armaments. They cost money. Money gets taxed. The war gets filmed and put on the news. The news makes money. Money gets taxed. The thing about wars is they actually make more money than they cost to fight. The government simply never tells you about it. It is like being in a communist state where all the means are in the hand of the government only those means are all military, or so it seems. You drop a stone in a lake and it makes ripples, in this case dollars and those dollars create taxes and those taxes pay for the next war, and the war after that and so on.

I doubt seriously anybody will ever explain all the ways wars make money because that would tell you how to steal that mopney or put it to other use but war is a cash cow and you do not have to raise taxes to pay for it, simply collect them all.

Oh, and occasionally check to see who is forgiving whose national debts. That effects the currency values which in turn effects money, inflation, taxes and pretty much the world economy. It is a bigger stone in a bigger pond.

  13. They don't want to tax RICH people and corporations. They cut things like luxury and inheritance taxes. Most corporations pay NO TAX AT ALL. The overwhelming tax burden is shifted to the middle class, whose backs are breaking under the burden while the economy crumbles under our feet. All those foreclosures happen because the Republicans have so many people living paycheck to paycheck, but they don't care, because Exxon posts record profits every quarter! and guess who owns craploads of Exxon stock? The infrastructure of the country is crumbling because there's no profit in fixing it. That's why our bridges fall down while other countries build huge, new skyscrapers. h**l in a handbasket - smell the brimstone.

  14. Hard to answer a demagogic question, but here's the gist.

Republicans believe high taxes damage the ecomomy.

They believe the disportionate taxing of the rich is particularly damaging since the 'rich' create jobs for the middle class.

They believe taxation should be kept low & spent for the public good.

So the principal is that wars should be fought for the public good.  Like to maintain the stability of the American & world oil supply.   As opposed to the Clinton era war in Bosnia that lacked any  real link to American interest.

  15. 'Republicans tax just like all other politicians.

Many feel that lower tax rates lead to the generation of more revenues and therefore higher tax collections in the gov't coffers.

And don't forget, although wars cost money, that money is going somewhere.  And not just to politicians.  It goes to pay soldiers (who then pay taxes), it pays for weapons (making jobs), it pays for all the supporting infrastructure - more jobs created and more taxes back into the coffers.  Not all bad economically speaking.

  16. Since the Democrats not only voted for the use of force and for the continued support of it, since when is it a Republican war. We still have not finished paying for Korea and Vietnam (2 wars that started during Democratic administrations) and we finished paying for ww2 in the 60s. A war that was also started under a Democrat.

  17. Just what do you mean by "Their Wars"? if you are referring to the current one, the Democratic Senate and Congress all voted for it as well. As a matter of fact, more Dems voted to stay in Iraq than Republicans. But to answer your silly question, I would have to say they pay for it just like the Dems and Liberals pay for welfare and other social programs for people who are fully capable to work for living but believe that the world owes them something; Squarely on the backs of the taxpayers.

  18. The idea is to round up every one under 24 and in slave them.
