I think roller derby should be in the olympics. how does one petition the olympic committee for something like that?

When bumped, do the flail their arms a lot trying to keep their balance?  They're hamming it up for the crows.

How can the team stop the entire pack to allow the jammer to get through and miraculous make all those points?

Do the some teams or skaterss wear costumes and theatrical make up?  

It's all a shtick...  Sorry to burst your bubble.

Don't get me wrong.  The skaters are athletic and roller derby would be a good exhibition sport for the Olympics.
