He's all about the right to privacy, except when it comes to abortion, then the government has every right to go nosing itself in a woman's business.

  1. As an OBGYN who has delivered over a thousand babies Im sure he is a little skewed toward life..

As a politician he is against the supreme court legislating from the bench.. They are the Judicial branch ...not Legislative..

He would follow the US Constitution and leave the decision up to the individual states but remove "Federal" funding for abortion...

  2. He was a praticing MD before he got into politics.

  3. why don't pro-choice women care about the unborn fetus' privacy? And actually he said that should be left up to the states but post 3rd trimester abortions should be considered criminal. I can't stand these chick-flick, Dr. phill fans who think divorce is an expectation and act like abortion clinics should have a drive-threw. Disgusting form of existence.

  4. That is a standard dichotomy when it comes to any conservative.

But Ron Paul is a non - factor.

  5. When you believe life begins at conception (and he is an OBGYN) you don't think of abortion as a violation of privacy, you think of it as murder.

  6. Ummm, are u stupid?  He says that he has seen abortions performed and doesn't personally like them.  He thinks that because the way the Constitution is worded the Federal Government has NO BUSINESS involving themselves in that decision.  It is the right of the States to decide their own laws on the matter.  How is that "in womans business?"  Please explain?  I am lost in your logic.  unless you hope that those who might have thought about voting for ron paul won't look at his issues.  And that is just as stupid as your statement.

  7. He probably doesn't think that the crime of murder deserves privacy while committing it.

  8. Actually, your question is based on a false premise.

He has never taken the position that the government has any right to intrude into a woman's affairs or anyone else's. In fact, his position is the exact opposite. He says that it is not the business of the President or the Federal Government to legislate on the issue of abortion, either FOR or AGAINST.

He has said that, as President, he would follow the Constitution, and let these things be settled at the state level. That is the law.

Show me where he said anything that could even be loosely paraphrased as "the government has every right to go nosing itself in a woman's business." You can't.

You have been the victim of disinformation. Don't feel bad, you're not the only one. There are also a lot of neocons who think that RP is some kind of a secret racist.

Humans are highly susceptible to psychological manipulation, especially over issues such as these. Just don't believe everything you hear. Look it up for yourself.

    Cheers :)

  9. There is no difference between the privacy of men, and the privacy of women.  Privacy is privacy.

Now, as to the second part of your question, abortion has nothing to do with privacy.  This was the lame excuse the Supreme Court gave to attempt to justify the legalization of the killing of the unborn.  If the Court were truly concerned about privacy, the Patriot Act, and the Department of Homeland Terrorism would be struck down.  These two abominations are violations of our Fourth Amendment Rights, that is, privacy.

Do you understand what the function of government is?  Why do we have government?  Here is the answer.

We have government to protect our GOD-GIVEN RIGHTS.  That's what the Declaration of Independence says.  Men establish government to protect the unalienable Rights that they get from their Creator, and among these rights are LIFE, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

If life is one of our unalienable rights that we are given by our Creator, no legitimate government can take it away, or stand by and allow others to do so.  It is government's job to protect life, regardless of what color we are, how old we are, and whether or not we are considered "useless eaters".

Considering abortion to be a privacy issue demonstrates the degenerate mentality of some of our Supreme Court Justices.  The legalisation of abortion, takes a class of people, in this case, the unborn, and considers them as non-people.  What's next?  The old?  The terminally ill?  The handicapped?  This is the n**i mentality.  Today, we are seeing more and more manifestations of this n**i mentality: the legalization of torture, disregarding habeas corpus, violations of the Fourth and Fifth Amendments.

We are loosing our freedom.  People do not willingly give up their freedom.  The do so under some delusion.  A woman's "privacy".  The "War on Terrorism".

  10. Gee... I guess that you would want to give Jeffery Dahmer privacy when he was eating too...
