  1. Rossi is great, but you can see in his interviews that he has resigned to the fact he is on his way out.

    His body language says all.

Its not about the make of bike, or tyres or any of that.

Rossi has done well, but new people come up, thats the way it goes.

  2. Hey John

I don't think so, when he swapped to Yamaha everyone thought it was game over and he somehow managed to stun his critics by being back to back champion on a bike that most people didn't think had a win in it.

Having gone to the 800's this season, anything could have happened - and sort of did! Honda didn't hit the ground running though they seem to have it together now.

It's shaping up to be a good 2008 season.

  3. I wouldn't say so. Honda had as much problems as Yamaha did. And both Yamaha and Honda had the same tyre problems.

Maybe the question has to be if Rossi was riding the Ducati and Stoner the Yamaha or Honda, would Stoner get the second place? :))

  4. Given Yamaha finished ahead of Honda this year the answer is yes.

  5. No.

It was a team thing almost as much as Casey's massive talent.

A rider himself does not win a championship. It takes a great number of very talented people to make the machine / rider win.

E.G. Rossi took his Honda crew to Yamaha.

Dani took his 250 crew to MotoGP

Foggy took his crew to Honda from Ducati.

I bet you will some of Lorenzo boys in Blue and white shirts next year!

  6. I don't know about the tile, but the title would've been Stoner's regardless, the Honda this year was a real dog early on.
