will she convince a nation of Americans of anything--and what about foreign negotiations--come on--she could keep her 17 year old from making the stupidest decision ever--and now she's teaching her to pay for it by marrying shotgun?

what do you think?

  1. She can't even control her own kids. This is what happens when you talk that abstinence c**p. A little s*x ed and a 50 cent condom could have avoided the whole mess.

The shotgun part is the Republican response to "Family Values", surprise pregnancies and bad parenting. What kind of c**p is that.? I would rather my daughter remain a single mother with parental help than get into a bad marriage.

BTW doesn't the Republican, Dr Laura and Conservative rule book dictate a mother is supposed to stay home with the kids just to avoid the whole teen pregnancy thing? According to them Democrats are supposed to be the poster children for bad parenting and g*y love. Yet here we have Palin, an unwed teen mother and Larry Craig.

Ah Republicans God has a special place for them. Summer underwear required.

  2. I think that you have never had teenage children.

You do not "teach" children  lessons by forcing them to things that are bad for them or not in their best intersts.

Please take some parenting classes before you have kids.

  3. If Obama couldn't control himself and stand up to peer pressure and refuse to snort line after line after line after line of coke, how will he control a nation?

    Dur dur idiotic irrelevant point

  4. lol IF their Elected, she will do nothing. shes a puppet, just like McCain.

  5. If nothing else, Palin is making the rest of the young women feel better who are dealing with an unplanned pregnancy.

But I hope that these young women still have a choice to marry or not marry.

I deeply believe in marriage but am horrified to think that somebody is being pressured into it.

  6. I think she shouldnt be blamed for a mistake and a decision that her nearly adult daughter made. Whether she taught her daughter to abstain or not is none of anybody's business. Nobody is to judge the way that she has raised her kids unless they have seen it first hand.

  7. I think that the definition of a good parent is one that teaches their children the way that they should go and supports them in their trials.  Gov. Palin fits the bill.

  8. I don't think Gov. Palin will convince America of anything other than that  Senator McCain was desperate.

  9. Are you really, seriously comparing teenage s*x to foreign relations?

  10. Rather simple minded.

  11. I think it's none of your business.  Your personal life has nothing to do with how your boss judges your job performance, now does it?  No, so that doesn't apply to her.  I'm 18 years old, I goto church every Sunday, and I have morals and values instilled in me.  Does that mean I still don't go out and do stupid things that I regret? Absolutely not.  Our parents cannot hold our hands forever and make decisions for us.  When your 16, 17, even 18 you're only thinking about having a good time with friends and dating your high school sweetheart, you're not worried about what might happen as a consequence.  She made a mistake, she's a human being, people do that.  I think it's funny that you're going to vote for Barack Obama or some other hippie who preaches peace and love, and yet you sit here and stir the pot of hateful politics.  Her daughter getting pregnant isn't the best thing to happen for her candidacy and John McCain's, but at the same time, it's no one's business but her family's, and that's where that topic should END.  This is not a topic for public discussion.

  12. You bring up a valid point.  A parent has the most influence on their children.  I question why does a christian conservative woman, that values family as being the most important thing is running for VP when she just had a child that has special needs.

Since Friday, I've only seen one picture where she is holding her own child.

  13. She has trouble controlling her daughter, obviously.  I bet her daughter is pissed because her name is Bristol.

  14. It think you are a shallow minded elitist snob liberal.

  15. I couldn't agree with you more. She isn't the most convincing candidate for anything. Even Dr. Laura said she shouldn't be running for VP

  16. Leave Family out of it even Obama said that. His mother had him (Obama) at 18 and I don't care about when Palins Daughter got pregnant or when Obamas mom got pregnant! Lets talk about the issues..

Any Hillary supporters getting sick of a lot the Obama supporters sexist blogs?

  17. Could your parents stop you when you were 17 or could they just tell you CAREFUL MR...CAREFUL

  18. You must not have kids.

    At least not teenagers.

You can drill things into your kids' minds all day long, and they will still do what they want.  There is no way a parent can keep an eye on their children 24/7.  Teens make mistakes, and that is by no means Sarah Palin's fault that her daughter got "caught" doing the same thing the majority of 17 year olds are doing.

Her daughter being pregnant has absolutely nothing to do with politics.

  19. 17 year olds do stupid things. Some people have to learn things the hard way. Not Sarah's fault as a mother. Would it be better to keep it a secret and get an abortion? of course not. But that is what a lot of these political types would have done. So now Sarah Palin goes from a MILF to a GILF in a couple months.
