  1. Alemao means German, so you should be happy to hear, that a German Prince could be King of Scots should an independent Scotland decide to retain the Monarchy but replace the Royal House of Windsor with another one.

The Jacobite claim to the Scottish throne lies now in the Royal House of Bavaria. The Head of the Wittelsbach, Duke Franz, is King Francis II for the Jacobites.

  2. It would be an independant state and would therefore have no monarchy unless they felt compelled to start a new one.

  3. scotland would be an independent country.

they could call the country '' the independent republic of scotland.''

they might choose to have a democratic kind of government,

or have a Scottish royal monarchy of their own.

  4. Queen Mary had 2 sons. 1 went on to be king of England. the other was executed.

  5. As the current Queen is a direct descendant of the Stuarts (who were the ruling House of Scotland) she would still be Queen of Scotland. She's Queen of Australia, Canada and New Zealand as well as a number of othe independent states. I don't see why Scotland would be different.

Let's also not forget that she owns property in Scotland (Balmoral belongs to her not the state).

  6. The royal family would be the direct decendants of Mary Queen of Scots. The Stuart line.. Its hard to say who would be now because lines change, wars are fought, but if everything went smoothly, it would be the decedants of the Stuarts, of which I think Queen Elizabeth II is one.
