If someone lightly tickles you while you sleep, would a person respond the way a person laughs when he's tickled consciously?

  1. Some people do, others don't. It depends on the level of conciousness that the sleeping person has. If they are dreaming for example, the receptive part of the brain is working, then they will probably start giggling, however if they are "dead", then they will just lie there.

  2. Well with me my late b/f

used to tickle my feet to

wake me up in the middle

    of the night for "nookie",

    and he said

    I would be giggling and

    laughing in my sleep.

When I did it to him

    he was smiling,

    giggling and curling his

    toes before he woke up.

  3. My fiancee says he tried to tickle me while I was sleeping, and he said that I don't do anything, I just laid there, conked out.... lol!

So, I don't think so because when you're sleeping, you're senses are dulled, meaning all your body is doing is recooperating. Also, since you're sleeping, and someone is trying to tickle you, you're not aware of what they are doing, so you won't wake up unless they are putting enough pressure on your skin and nerves.
