Stanislas Wawrinka made his way into the quarter final round of the 2010 If Stockholm Open Men’s singles competition on Wednesday after thrashing out Robin Haase of Netherlands in three sets. The final match score was 7-5, 6-7(6), 6-4. The clash concluded
in a time period of two hours and twenty seven minutes in Sweden.
The fifth seed Swiss prevented a total of ten out of his eleven break point chances and blasted twelve aces to topple his opponent who was ranked outside the top hundred in the ATP list during the beginning of the year. Robin is currently ranked number sixty
eight in the world and he won ninety three percent of his points on service return on Wednesday.
The 25-year-old Stanislas, who is currently coached by Peter Lundgren, as a result of this victory, has successfully advanced into his sixth tour level final eight of the season. He captured his second crown at the Grand Prix Hassan 2 earlier in Casablanca

Meanwhile, Matthias Bachinger, a qualifier from Germany who is currently ranked number two hundred and seventy five in the world, registered his second ATP World Tour victory after dispatching off Lukasz Kubot from Poland in three sets on Wednesday. The
final match score was 6-4, 4-6, 6-3. The battle was stretched to a time period of two hours and four minutes in Sweden. Lukasz who made his way into the final of the Brasil Open earlier this year in Costa do Sauipe, has now defeated in the opening round in
seven straight championships in 2010.
Another player from Germany, Tobias Kamke prevented five of six break point chances to overpower Jan Hajek from the Czech Republic in two sets on Wednesday. The final match score was 6-0, 6-2. The battle lasted to a time period of sixty three minutes.
In other action in Moscow, the fourth seed Marcos Baghdatis from Cyprus needed only sixty two minutes to topple his Italian foe, Potito Starace in straight sets at the Kremlin Cup on Wednesday. The final match score was 6-4, 6-3.
The Cypriot fired a total of eleven aces to reach his tenth ATP World Tour quarter-final or better in 2010, which is highlighted by a title victory at Medi International Sydney after defeating Richard Gasquet back in January.
