    True, i personally see monday as the start of the week. And where i work, they see mon as start of week too in terms of pay

  3. Monday is the start of the week NOT sunday, who told you that?

  4. because sunday is the beginning of the week and saturday is the end of the week ie:  weekends.  If like some people think monday was the beginning of the week monday and sunday would be the weekends

  5. Because it's the sabbath. That's why a lot of people just consider Monday the first day. It might as well be.
