Suze Orman is a joke.  She's a celebrity status person that pushes her opinions on everyone as though it's gold and completely flawless.  Ask anyone that works in the industry and they'll all say the same thing...she's a quack on a lot of her stuff (some of her advice is good, but definately not all of it!).  She's on TV because she's entertaining and attractive and makes for good tv, not because she's a genius.  Ranks up there with Dave Ramsey and Mad Money with Jim Kramer...sometimes they're right...a lot of times they're wrong, but boy it's fun to see them get all worked up on TV!  They might have big networths from the books they written in the past, but that doesn't mean all their advice should be taken as gospel.

I guess at a certain point of wealth, a credit score wouldn't be that important.  I'm sure a bank would rather loan money to Suze (w/ her millions) and a lower credit score than me (no millions yet) with a good credit score.  Look how many times Trump declared bankruptcy, yet gets millions in loans.

To answer the question, 35% of a credit score is based on payment history... I doubt that Suze has paid any debt payments in a while.
