Question:

If TTC makes you frustrated sometimes, what calms you down?

I know that we are all different, but what are some relaxation techniques you use to remind yourself it's all gonna be okay? When I use to get upset about af showing up, and not getting pregnant (before going to RE), I would have a good cry then snuggle with my husband. A good beer always helped too! lol.

  1. I usually get a gigantic hug from my husband and then we hang out the rest of the day doing whatever I would like to do.  


  2. Spending time with my partner alone - be it a home cooked meal or going out just to have dinner somewhere nice for the evening. Even going to the movies helps distract us and put us at ease. It's lovely to take time out sometimes to spend with hubby...as much as we dearly want a baby of our own, "couple time" will definately be limited once we strike lucky and baby arrives! Just small things like that are a small comfort.

    - go out!

    - stay in! lol.... movie night!

    - read

    - go to the park

    - blast music while cleaning (exciting, huh, lol)

    - work out

    - make smoothies (blending stuff for some reason works lol)

    - and lately... bake cookies from scratch... and then eat them all ... ok. maybe i share a few with my hubby.

    but that's what i've been doing a lot of lately when i get frustrated from TTC with no results and other things as well obviously.

  4. I get down and have a beer or hubby and I go out for dinner together. We've been TTC for 5 months now.. I am a true believer that it will happen when it should. ;) Always keep your chin up and just think about how fun it is to practice...practice does make perfect! ;)
