If The hulk and venom merged what powers and abilitys would he have?

it has come to my attention after playing(the hulk:ultimate destruction) and also (Ultimate spiderman) that what would happen if they merged? and im still wandering what his new name would be? sounds like a new combo that would cuase alot of superhero's that already fear the hulk to form up again and sounds like this combo could single handedly fight galactus or superman maybe even doomsday?

That would not be a wise merge on Marvels part, but if that is what you like, you would have one super strong, highly agile potential hero villan

Well, this has already happened before in the Comics.

In a "What If" Edition called "What If The alien costume had possessed Spider-Man?", the following happened in the story:

The suit takes control of Spider-Man and as it constantly feeds on him, Spider-Man ages at an accelerated rate. Within days Spider-Man dies of old age. Desperate to survive, the symbiote bonds with a weakened ***Hulk***. Thor confronts Venom-Hulk and defeats him leading the symbiote to take over Thor. The heroes employ Black Bolt's incredibly powerful voice to create enough sonic damage to critically injure the symbiote and free Thor.

So anyway... the powers that the Venom symbiote grants are just those of Spidermans, including superhuman strength, agility, and reflexes, webbing creation, and the ability to adhere to walls. It does not inherit the "Spider-sense", but it does allow him to bypass Spider-Man's own senses.

Venom's body is highly resistant to physical injury, and it can help its host survive in hostile environments by filtering air. It can also heal any injury or illness its host suffers much more quickly than human medical care.

Since the Hulk already has super-strength, durability and a healing factor which already surpasses those of Spiderman's, the symbiote suit will not be beneficial to the Hulk in those areas. However, the Hulk will get the other powers that he doesn't already have, such as webbing, wall-crawling, fast reflexes and agility.

Now you may be wondering why the normal Venom host, Eddie Brock is stronger that Spiderman if the Symbiote supposedly grants the same powers as Spiderman. And the reason is because Eddie Brock in his human form is already a lot stronger than Peter Parker (Before he was Spiderman) because he works out with weights all the time.

With that in mind, the Hulk doesn't really get any major power boosts that will let him fight people on the level of Superman or Doomsday and most certainly not Galactus (Galactus is leagues above Supes or Doomsday - Planet Eater anyone?).

But, Hulk will be controlled by Venom, who may be able to induce anger and rage much faster. And we all know, "the madder he gets, the stronger he gets", and "Hulk is the strongest one there is".
