ummm, NO, he would be a disaster!! He is not ready for the big leagues, maybe some Whelen or maybe* ARCA, but not the big 3(Sprint cup, Nationwide, Craftsman Truck series). There are MANY other way more qualified/talented drivers to choose from.

In my opinion, Truex should leave DEI and go with a better established racing team, he is a good driver with great expectations, but with the equipment and recent "cheating" has hurt him and will possibly make him miss the chase from 14th to 18th..not a good sign.....would love to see him at RCR or Penske....go ahead and let the thumbs begin...me a big girl can take it..lol

about Carmichael....needs more seat time in nationwide before they put him full time ride in Cup, just my opinion..i have one like all others..he has good potential!!

Id say it might be a little risky but he has done pretty good in the Camping World series. I would let him feel his way around some more before handing the reins to him in the Bigs.

I really want Truex to resign with DEI. People think it's a horrible team. In my opinion I grew up rooting for DEI. I would like Truex to stay in this car until 2012. Long Term contract.

Not sure if he has what it takes. Mark Martin was helping him but now noone every talks about him anymore so that tells me MArk must have told the owners he not going to make it

No way, he hasn't raced Nationwide yet, still in the Camping World Easty Series and doing good but not lighting it up. I have no idea who would take that ride, maybe if they sign Casey Mears, Aric Almirola will take over that car after a full Nationwide season. If anyone goes from Camping World East to Cup in 2 years for DEI wouldn't it be fun if it were Steve Park.

To soon, he needs more seat time, needs to run Nationwide before he gets to run in Cup, he has done pretty good in Camping World Series but, No he isn't ready for Cup yet.

Last I heard Ricky is doing OK in the nascar west series. he is not ready to move up though. If Truex does leave you will probably see Casey Mears take that spot.
