If Turkey joins the EU what can it bring (good things) for the rest of the EU?

perspective that is needed to create a world power.

you see, European identity is historically based on anti-Turkishism. and it was rightly so, as the two power centers kept struggling with each other for centuries. but if Europe manages to negotiate with her dear anti-identity, confidence wise, strategy wise, she will benefit immensely from it.

It is easy to be totally dependent to our already established identities; what is appreciated by history is when and how we find the courage to change it.

Think how much civilizations benefited from these kind of negotiations.

this was the important part. on the less important part, how about Istanbul, for instance? or safety of Europe's energy channels - or do you prefer to depend solely on Russia? or  electronics, textile, automobile, FMCG industries among biggest in Europe? and last but not least, a decrease in the average age of European citizens.
