But one guy eats a can of spinach 2wice a day, and the other guy doesn't.

Who will be stronger at the end of say 5 months of doing this.

I know that ppl CLAIM spinach doesn't make you stronger, but it can't hurt. Maybe it will help, even if it's not direct.

  1. Spinach man. He gets more calories.

  2. Who will be stronger? Most likely the person who has better genetics, in terms of strength.  However, obviously you want to know how spinach would effect strength.

Probably the person who took spinach twice a day would benefit (so small, it would not even be noticeable), because they would be getting nutrients from the spinach, which would help a tad, tad bit.

  3. your a popeye fan aren't you.lol spinach is good for you.

  4. spinach gives you more energy because it has iron in it which enables your blood cells to carry oxygen to your muscles. Mr spinach will feel less tired at the end of the day and recover faster. But they will probably end up with the same amount of muscles mass assuming the rest of their diet is balanced.

  5. Technically you still didn't hit on anythig that would determine strength.. Genetic fulcrums, joint attachments, connective tissues, neural firing patterns etc. BUT, if all of those were equal, and the diet was equal other than the spinach...  drumroll PLEASE

There wouldn't be a bit of difference between them.

  6. I am afraid to say spinach by itself will not build muscle mass in your body.

  7. Spinach wont make a diffrence. The genetics will. Those are what determine how fast you grow and how strong you can grow. The spinach wont make a difference. Unless you eat spinach and the other person eats only junk food. Then it will be the nutrition that makes the difference. But it is based on family genes.
