If U {or someone u know}works w/autistic children,have U witnessed some uncanny psychic abilities some have?

I've a friend who works w/autistic children and has seen a good amount of these children having a very keen psychic abilities.

I can't say that I've seen psychic abilites, but I have seen some increadible displays of strength.

I work with the Missouri Department of Mental Health at a Mental Retardation/Developementally Disabled facility. Many of my clients have an Axis I diagnosis of Autism, and while they aren't Psychic, as you say, they do have various things they seem to do the best. It's hard to be psychic when you loose almost all of your speaking abilities.

To my knowledge none of the Autistic children I've worked with so far have had any psychic abilities that I've seen.

One thing Zac H just because you can't speak doesn't mean you can't be psychic it just means you can't express it the same as any other psychic would.

Autistic kids don't have psychic abilities.

Kids with autism have a very hard time functioning in normal conditions, oftentimes. They tend to be awkward in at least one area of their social lives..

Still, while dysfunctional in one area, many have had many special talents...

Talents.. let's not confuse talents with psychic abilities, okay? Some are excellent at math or spelling, some can memorize things instantly or some see numbers as colors.. Some are great at detecting things and reading people..etc.. There are some pretty uncanny abilities, but there are no psychic powers.

There are too many things we don't know about the human mind to jump to such rash conclusions such as psychic abilities. Unexplained things does not mean supernatural.

Yes, my sister is a special education teacher and she said that this one gal in her class seems to know things about her that only she would know.  She also said that she seems to be able to know when something bad is going to happen.
