If UC Berkeley is supposed to be better then UCLA, why do more people want to go to UCLA then Berkeley???

Some people always claim that Berkeley is better then UCLA. I got into both but SIRed to UCLA because after visiting both campuses I liked UCLA better. Berkeley is to nature like and it kind of has a hippi feeling on campus.

Because UCB has crappy old buildings. The weather is dreadful, and although UCLA is built on a hill, UCB is built on a friggin mountain. To top it off, the towns around UCB are rundown with crappy roads. THey say UCB is next to San Francisco, and they're right, but you need to pass a bridge that requires you to pay 10 bucks front and back.

UCB on the other hand is known as a better academic school. But lets be real, uCLA and UCB are equally competitive, since the average GPA for both schools is a 2.7. ANd as far as academic prestige go, the difference is minute. h**l i'd even throw marshall in the mix, (but its in the ghetto) and they have been accused of grade inflation.

So if you are planning to go to an ivy league MBA or graduate program. I recommend you front up the dough, get straight A's at USC competing with richer less capable people (and meet your future boss). And once you have superior grades, go to an ivy league and juss graduate, and say I competed with the best in the world and graduated.

If you are smart and capable go to berkeley.
If you want to challenge yourself, your an idiot.
^make sure your SAT's are up cuz if its not then you are the latter statement.
