This hypothetical question doesn't deserve an answer because the probability of the US attacking India is nil.

In any case why do you have any doubts about your own country?I have none.

Why would we attack India? We have very good relations with that country. Besides,Who would we out-sourse our work to?

no way definetly india cannot because USA's technology is far advanced than ours.

Also,if USA drops a nuclear bomb like that happened in japan our troops would be dead in a mibute or two

hi,sorry to tell that if it happens then india cannot defend itself.i don't mean that india has no power or is not sophisticated in defense department,india can fight with any country if war opens,but india cannot fight too long in a full fledge war with usa and it will very very tough for india to face that situation coz everyone knows that although india is very advanced and is rated as seventh most powerful nation in world,but in positions usa is rated as number one and the rest everyone can calculate the results of -

Number- 1 vs Number -7.

lastly,without speaking any childish statements or getting frustated,we and everybody knows that practically usa will dominate india in this situation although we hope and will that in coming future years india will grab usa place in this and every field .

I doubt it, but I don't believe that the USA has any intention of attacking India. What would be the point?

The U.S.A. has enough Weapons and most modern equipments. But Indian has the courage, Intelligence and all to face any problems with our resources.. I think defanitly Indians will win. Also pl note that If any country in the world the U.S. A has attacked, they ended in big trouble. eg.. Iraq, Vietnam, some african countries etc...

In the last air exercise in kalikundam in WB IAF had fired 90 times laser on US F 16. We are strong & nuclear powered. so they wont think in this in there dreams.

India is already attacked by proxies in Pak &Bangladesh (ISI),Srilanka(LTTE), underworld dons (Dubai), Maoists&Naxels (China), directly through local politicians (union carbide,nuke deal); does it need more from and through USA?

we are dumb, but not that dumb. there would be no reason to do so. plus, india is such a chill country, there would be no excuse we could use to actually go in and justify an attack.

hypothetically speaking, if the united states attacked india. india would stand no chance. if that happened, i would be so ashamed of this country i would move to canada.

We wouldn't... And people don't understand that we don't just go places to kill everyone! We step into countries and kill the people who are killing everyone else. And as far as I know, India is doing much better.

First India wouldn't let the situation go as worst. And people in USA are intelligent. They wouldn't harm country like India who don't provoke anyone just for a war. Not unlike some puny countries who don't have any fang but show they are fierce. Besides war is not as beneficial as trade.

But the hypothesis demands an answer, so yes India is a sovereign country and it will defend itself from attack by any country on its soil.

But then again we believe in Peace.

but unfortunately the answer is "no"

if USA attacks no country in the world could defend itself.

the system of attack and weapons they posses are unthinkable, the ones we know about are itself tremendously futuristic and distructive,imagine their secrets!!

But that dosenot mean that INDIA would not even stand a chance, INDIA too is strong but not strong enough, and if ever there were to be a war between the two it would be called WORLD WAR III

on ground conditions -answer is no--  being an Indian, and writing what follows i want to be realistic.

so, when the American stealth B2 bomber 2.2 billion dollar worth each, will arrive over the sky, what you are left with to do in defense, let away the point of attacking them.

and if our military air force & navy, would be 2/3 developed as compare to theirs, I'm sure to volunteer, as the war will turn into ww3, because American allies wouldn't let it defeated.
