  1. Vladimir said he'd never fight his brother for championship so unfortunately we have 2 #1 heavyweght champions

  2. Since the brothers will not fight each other there is no way to tell for sure who the best would be ..........but I think the public will go with whichever one provides more excitement and after last nights fight with Ibragimov i would suspect that Vitali would be the odds on favorite to fight in a more crowd pleasing fashion then his brother.

If you are talking about who would the so called experts tab the #1 heavyweight between the two of them then that's a pretty tough one because the only way to judge that would be by their opponents and there really is nobody looking really impressive in that division for either of them to fight.    To me wins over the Peter/Maskaev winner coupled with another win over Chagaev trumps a win over Ibragimov so i'm thinking Vitali would be considered the best heavyweight if all that happens.    I think the question that needs to be answered is who does Wladimir fight during the timeframe that Vitali is coming back and winning these fights???  That could change my opinion..............good question though.............really requires some thought because the answer is not obvious at all.

  3. bro im pretty sure vladimir will get the first shot to DEFEAT maskaev for the world title

  4. Vlad gets first shot

  5. Neither of them, Vladimir is scared of being hit cos of his glass jaw and the sooner he loses the belts the better. And Vitale is semi-retired and not as good as he used to be!!

David Haye will move up to Heavyweight and take Vladimir out!!

  6. By your logic the answer is yes. Vitali would be crowned the Heavyweight Champion by Ring Magazine. It could happen, I've seen craizer things in boxing. The real question is can Viatli stay healthy enough in training to even get in the ring?

  7. Technically speaking, Wladimir holds the belt that has lineage dating back to the first ever Heavyweight Champion of the World.  If that means anything to anyone then I guess you could say he is number one.  Like the gent said before me, the two Klitschko bros.  will never fight each other so if all this comes to fruition we will never know the true number one fighter, but I think Vitali would beat Wladimir in a dream fight.  Vitali is 35-2 with 34 KOs.  He lost twice; once to Chris Byrd when he threw in the towel due to a shoulder injury (even though Vitali led on all score cards) and his second loss was the infamous Lennox Lewis fight in which he did not want to stop due to a cut and Lewis won by default.  Vitali is older, but he is a 6`7 beast who's got power and technicality.  No offense, Wlad is a great fighter, but Vitali would romp him.
