Question:

If We Evolved From Monkeys, Then How Come These Heinous Critters Are Still Around?

Atheists can never find an answer to that question. Let's face it, the Bible is the only source that legitimately explains human origins. We was created by God. Duh! Everyone knows that.

  2. How often do people have to ask the same question and get the same answer? We are not evolved from monkeys; monkeys and humans evolved from a common ancestor species, as is evidenced by their almost identical DNA.

  3. Perhaps if you actually read things once in a while you would understand that there has NEVER been a claim that humans evolved from monkeys.  This is a mythical viewpoint put around by christian fundamentalists who also do not know what they are talking about.

Once more, and it certainly won't be the last time.....  Humans and monkeys evolved from common ancestral roots.  This is not the same thing.

    Try researching instead of regurgitating.

  4. Quran also speaks the same......why don't we have any intermediate state of apes......we have apes, and humans....did all apes converted directly into humans?why did these monkeys left as monkey?????

this is because tht Darwins theory was not correct.

  5. Probably because we didn't evolve from monkeys...

  6. While the rest of us were in school, you were out playing with monkeys!

You need to do more reading on the subject. We didn't evolve from monkeys.

  7. Gosh, puddin' pop. The thing is that even if we did evolve from monkeys, there would still be monkeys. 'evolve from monkeys' doesn't imply that every single monkey all got regular daily 'mutation' checkups from some 'all monkey's mutate the same way all at once' over seer. I checked your answer history to see if you were maybe just an atheist pretending to be a stupid Christian but nope, you're really this stupid.

  8. Because we don't need to.

For the umpteen-zillionth time: we didn't "evolve from monkeys"; we share a common ancestor with them.

Best if you don't open your mouth again until you get yourself a proper education on the subject -- otherwise, you only end up making yourself look foolish...

  9. Only the completely uneducated in evolutionary theory think it says anything about us evolving from current monkey species. People who go around saying this to those who know better are essentially saying "if my ancestors came from England why are them thar English still here?" Yet they think they are being witty when they make this observation.

We share a distant common ancestor with modern primates. We evolved one way and they evolved another. We do not come from them. Your assertion that the Bible's creation story taken literally provides a legitimate alternative is equally amusing.

  10. If Americans evolved from Europeans, why are there still Europeans?

    Ting-ting!  Next, please.

  11. If Christians came from Jews why are there still Jews?

Try the Biology section for questions about evolution....

  12. actually many other religions even come close to scientific reasoning but the bible is wayyy off

for now im sticking with science

  13. The bible legitimately explains nothing. None of it is proven fact, just the writings of people from an ancient culture with no scientific understanding of the world around them. What worries me is that, when fundies like you are offered scientific explanations for things you choose to ignore the facts and believe in fantastical stories about a mythical higher power. You look at our ancestors who believed in the "gods of fire and the "gods of water" who were responsible for the seas and for volcanoes erupting and you laugh at their primitive understanding of the world. How are they different from you, then?

For your information, we didn't evolve from monkeys. We evolved from creatures that shared the same genetic roots as the ape and monkey family. Apes and monkeys evolved to the level that they are at at the moment and we evolved at a faster rate from our ape-like ancestors, who became extinct as a species. To put in simpler terms so that you can get your brain around it: there are many different species of ape, of monkey, of fish, of every living creature. Our ancestors were just one sub-species that evolved from the ape family. That is why apes and monkeys still exist alongside humans. Duh!

  14. Originality-0

    Obviousness-10

    overall trolling ability-0

    FAIL

  15. That's like saying 'well cows have hooves so they must have evolved from the same thing that horses did-WHY ARE THERE HORSES!?'.

We share a common ancestor that branched out. Humans are just too egotistical to say 'yes, we are part of the ape family' or any words to that effect.

  16. Evolution does not say that man evolved form ape. It does say that man and ape evolved from a common ancestor.

The common ancestor may seem more ape-like than human-like. Different branches of primates had different evolutionary pressures. When a species finds a nitche where it is well adapted there is less pressure to change. Sharks and cockroaches have changed little for millions of years because they are so well adapted for survival. Many other species have come and gone in the tenure of the shark and cockroach.

If you were educated and even studied the subject before you asked the stupid question, you might know that.

  17. The same reason we have domestic cats and lions, they became different species of the same family

  18. Maybe you should study the theory of evolution a little better. The thing you are basis evolutions "error" on is easily explained.  Its the same reason why all cats aren't tigers, or all dogs aren't poodles.

  19. technically we all evolved from single celled organisms, your god is imaginary.
