  2. All temptations not being the same, I submit that it depends on the nature and power of the temptation.

    My temptations are usually controllable in what I like to think is due strictly to my strengths...but I might be a tad prejudiced.  Or not.

  3. It may be a weakness of your temptation if they are influencing you to do negative things, but it takes strength to resist things that we want to do but shouldn't.

  5. due to our strength....if on the other side you resist because of the consequences....like chickening out... i still believe..running away is still your strength...temptation really knock on your door. and avoiding it and trying to turn it down you should have a lot of guts.....so it is your strength......

    Temptations themselves do not hold any intrinsic power ... what may be irresistible to some, someone else may be completely unmoved by. The power a temptation holds over us does not come from within it but from within us :) ... a heartening thought I always find, and one I draw upon in my weakest moments...

  14. It depends on the temptation. Most people take temptation as a negative thing but what if a smoker was tempted to stop smoking because his family wanted him to quit. Is that a strength to say no i want to keep smoking?
