If YOU found hair in your FOOD at a friends house......?

ok som last night i was eating dinner at a friends house and they make great food and i was in middle of passing the salad aroung and it arrived at me and i looked in to take some, and there was this nsty looking hair!!!!! my question is for YOU ..WHAT DO YOU DO IN SITUATIONS LIKE THESE?????IM LOOKING FOR COOL STORIES!

I was at a fondue party when a friend took a RAW piece of chicken and dipped it in the cheese prior to cooking it in the oil.  I politely and quietly pulled her over to let her know that raw chicken could contaminate the cheese then did the same with the host so she could handle the situation however she deemed fit.  She left the cheese out.   Needless to say I didn't dip ANYTHING into that cheese and pretty stayed away from everything else.

IN your situation I would have taken it to the kitchen w/o drawing attention to myself, if possible, while non-verbally indicating to the host to meet me in the kitchen where I would point it out to him/her then allowing him/her to do what they wish from there.  GB and HT!

hahaha i actually do have a story

i was eating at my friends house

and i dont really have the habit of looking at the food for anything bad like the hair thing

so i went on and put some food on my plate

and omg...the hair was so long, id assume it was from my friends moms hair

this is what went down

it was kinda like beef stew but it was an asian dish

and when i scooped a beef chuck fell of from the spoon haha...but the crazy thing is, it didnt fall all the way haha....because the hair was stuck on another beef chunk on the spoon

and the chunk that fell off was suspended by that other beef chunk haha

but i was just playing kool... even tho i was a little disgusted

when i was ready to eat, i TOTALLY forgot where that hair was

so i was like dang!

so what i did was, i told my friend that i couldnt eat much of the stew

so i practically gave him all of my beef chunks haha

i guess he swallowed the hair! haha because he didnt seem to notice it

So  What's  All  the  Fuss !!!   A  hair  won't  give  you  HIV  or  an  STD  or  anything  else  unpleasant .   When  you  serve  yourself  to  salad , if  you  get  the  hair  as  well , just  put  it  on  the  side  of  your  plate  and  say  nothing .

A  dentist  friend  of  mine  and  his  family  practice  excessive  hygene  at  home  and  in  the  kitchen .   They  love  to  eat  out ; almost  every  time  they  do , they  clain  to  suffer  food  poisoning  afterwards .   A  little  dirt , a  few  germs  helps  your  body  to  protect  itself  agaist  infection .

I would think at a friends i would tell them. Or let them visually see me picking it off my food or mouth (yuck)  

but you never know til your in that situation. When i used to work at the yogurt place TCBY, i was scooping this lady her icecream and there was this long black thick hair when i scooped it in her cone. I didn't want the store to look unsanitary so i quickly placed a second scoop on top of the first one covering the hair.

Wasn't the right thing to do i know, but i panicked.  :D

if ur saying it was pubic hair... i have really nothing to say. but if it was just hair. just get over it its hair. and in a salad. you're not gonna die yet. but the most you should do is point it out and if ur too grossed out to do anything else. im sure the host will gladly remove it for you
