If Yahoo is the most visited search engine on the planet...?

Which i also agreed because I used Yahoo search more than other search engine, then how come Google considered to be the most popular ones? You never see anybody tell you to Yahoo it but rather google it. I also heard that Google is buyin off yahoo so is this true?

even though yahoo is my homepage, i always go to google. I like the results better. so I always "google it" no matter what
