America Has It's Faults But I was Just Wondering, Why Not just Leave If you want to act Like Fascists that Don't Believe in other People's Privacy, Illegally Searching and Seizing other People's Property without a Warrant? Why Not Exile yourself to Russia, Cuba, China and Join the other Dictators In harmony that are Just Like Yourself? No Joke!

  1. Your current president, George Dubya, has been taking all of your constitutional rights and throwing them out the door.  The U.S has become a bunch of mindless idiots.  Fast food and T.V.  Fat and dumb.  There are exceptions mind you, but basically that is how the world views you.

  2. America Does Have her Faults But we should all be willing enough to Fight to Keep it's Basic principals In Tact without Changes to the Constitution or Bill of Rights as they are and Were Intended. America Love It or Leave It!

  3. Dude, make some sense.  If YOU believe in these freedoms, than others are FREE to believe as they wish here in America as well.  You sound like the fascist.  Freedom applies to other people than you.  Get it?

  4. I absolutely hate that people still use this argument.  For one, it presupposes that people can leave the country.  There are millions of citizens that do not have the means to leave the country.  This argument is extremely undemocratic.

A true democratic citizen questions their government, it is their right and duty as a citizen.  It isn't patriotic or right to just blindly follow your government because it is the government.  It is our duty to hold our government accountable for its actions.

  5. Just because you don't like a political situation (That is alterable) doesn't mean you should move.  I agree with you 100%, but don't think that people that disagree with us should leave the country.

John Stewart Mill argued that it is important to have people with views that absolutely disagree with you for a lot of reasons.  The most important to me is that you only really live what you believe when it is challenged.  If we didn't have people that disagreed with us, then we would become lazy our in beliefs and take them for granted.  So, don't let them leave.  I love the bill of rights sooooo much that I can stand anyone that doesn't like them.

  6. I'm a pretty proud American and I love my country and accept its faults.  I don't think I'm one of the people you directed this at, but let me answer for me.

I think there are some things we need to change, and they need to be changed in the next few years.  I am very upset with Congress in particular.  Social Security, the tax system and energy are issues that need to be addressed now, not later.

I won't leave because these haven't been fixed.  I will continue to write my senators and member of the House of Representatives, and I will consider their actions or inactions when I vote in November.

I have no fascist or communist leanings.  There are patriotic Americans who lean socialist.  I respect their views but disagree with them.  As long as an American citizen practices good citizenship I have no quarrel with views that may disagree with my own.

  7. Unfortunately, people quickly forget the whole premise of why and how this country (that we all love so dearly) was founded.  If the founders were alive today - there would be a major revolution going on... the government that we have today is exactly what they were against...it is exactly why the Bill of Rights and The Constitution were written and put in place.  What's happening today is that the American people are so busy being distracted by all the non-sense that they put on TV, and all the non-sense that is created to be a distraction so that the powers that be can take our rights, liberty and freedom away - a little at a time... so we don't even notice it.

It's like this... if you wanted to boil a frog... how would you do it without him jumping out of the pot of hot water?  You put him in a pot of cold water and turn on the heat.  he acclimates his body temperature as the temperature of the water increases (he gets used to it, little by little) and before you know it... BAMM... he's a gonner.

That's exactly what's happening here.  And what's worse (for us) is that we're being convinced it's the best thing for us... and so we're approving this.. asking for it... agreeing that it's "in our best interest",  "for the good of national security", "to protect us from the terrorists"... oh please.. the terrorists are those that we trust.. not foreigners...do your homework people... there's TONS of information out there on the internet... get out and research it while you still can... Yes, I said while you still can.  Were you aware of the changes that will be happening with the internet in the next few years?  I will provide a link for you to being your research - but it's up to you to find out more... and take a stand for AMERICA, YOUR RIGHTS, LIBERTY, FREEDOM and wake up all the sleepy head zombies that live in this country with us.

The internet - pay per site - will begin in Canada, as a test in 2010... yeap... you heard me...2010... and be global by 2012 Here's what it means.. the internet will be like cable.. you subscribe to a package of basic websites that you can visit... you will be allowed an allowance of a few sites beyond that (maybe) and have to pay to visit any other site... so let's say that you're researching something and you're on google (probably one of the sites in the package).. and all these listings come up... you click... click... click... click... nothing really pertaining to what you are looking for... but alas... you find one that may be it... you click.. and there it is... yeah!

Your bill comes and you get charged a crazy fee for all those sites that weren't in your package... that were pay per site... all to find the information you wanted.. needed, whatever... maybe your kids were really sick and you were trying to find out what they had.. or some alternative cures.. or just information about it... or some message boards with other parents that had similar experiences... but these sites are not corporate sites... theses sites are not part of your basic package... now what.... think about it...

Leave?  No... how will we save America if we leave?  Will we just LET IT go down the toilet?  Or will we start walking the walk of being AMERICAN.  I'm all about people's freedom to disagree.. that's NOT what this is about... this is about the foundation of what this country was founded on - being taken away - right from under us.

  8. but it's so easy to loathe and despise a place that offers you the complete freedom to do so.  while i really love my country and really don't like some of the things and methods that happen here, I have to go ahead and accept the negative things that people say about her.  it is their freedom and their right to do so.  fortunately for all of us, one cannot be locked away or kicked out for being an utter moron.

  9. I agree with you.

    Thank you!!

all Veterans feel the same, as do many other Americans (born and raised here with American parents)

  10. Maybe you should go to Russia yourself and take some grammar lessons.

  11. Why not stay and fight the incompetence and idiots like you?

  12. It is a good suggestion, but how do you correct/achieve democracy if you run away from it.

  13. Sounds like a question you should be asking Bush.
