  1. Most of the time, a question will find an answer with a good explanation.

However, most of the questioners just want the answers and do not care  whether or not there is any explanation

  2. It really depends on the way the student uses answers and help given.

Considering that someone who answered gave a step by step solution of the problem, it depends on wheter the student/asker copies the answer to their notebook and hands it in the next day, happy it's done, or tries to understand why it was done the way it was done, and figure out what step he was missing, so that he can get it right the next time. Sometimes seeing the correct solution is a good way to start understanding a certain theory.

So I do not think it is a bad thing to ask here for homework help and to give a detailed answer. It's all a matter of understanding how to make the best use out of it.

  3. yes you learn an important life lesion. You learn how to use resource how to use ingenuity. And how to make life easier for yourself. You also learn that teachers go on this and ask stupid questions like "If You Get Your Homework Answers For School Here... Do You Actually Learn Anything ?". Then after that they look at child p**n trying to find pictures of teenage girls. So yes you learn a wise lesion rather than a maths solution that you would never use agian in your life

  4. I believe that you do learn a lot from it.

Say you were having trouble with a math problem on your homework, so you asked it here. The person who responds usually give you a step-by-step solution to the problem.  Then, not only do you know the answer to the problem, you know how you would go about solving the problem.
