If You Have had to leave New Orleans.Would You Go Back?

Question

To try and re-build...This is a sad situation, but how can you live in an area that you have to wonder if your whole life is going to be destroyed every hurricane season. I don't think the state has recovered from Katrina....I don't believe my nerves could take it...

i don't really know i would prob move near new orleans or build an extremely sturdy house so less damages would be made every season

yea well I'm from New Orleans and me and ma family has moved. I sometimes wish that i could move back because all ma friends are there and where i live now  is three hours away. My mom and dad say they never wanna move back because hurricane Katrina was too much for them and we did lose everything.

Your always gonna miss the city u always knew and loved especially if you've lived there for so long. Lots of people have went back and rebuilt because well they've lived there for practically all there life and even though it has changed and it will never be the same its home to many people . New Orleans is a whole different place compared to other cities.It's just laid back and a fun place to be.

And to tell u da truth i would move back.
