  2. it depends on if life was frozen in the water. seeing as mars has always been cold... freezing for that matter... i don't think that any organisms every lived there, and had the chance to swim in the water. if the water didn't have life in it, then thawing it isn't going to make a difference. you end up with liquid water from another planet.

  3. If they did find the organisms that you speak of then what you are proposing will be the greatest discovery in recent time.

  4. It would depend on whether there was life in the water at the time it was frozen, and if there was it would also prove that there is life on other planets. It would probably be the biggest break-through in space travel history.
