  1. Hello...Ok..an "Overbite" is not an automatic reason to consider braces because not all over-bites can be corrected by that procedure...fact is, braces are used primarily to realign crooked teeth and correcting an extensive over-bite may require a different procedure that could even be surgical. When you have your over-bite evaluated by an Orthodontist you will then know what procedure or dental appliance will be required to deal with your over-bite...Good luck and I wish you well.

  2. Only if you want to correct the overbite... it won't correct itself.

But you don't have to correct it - millions of people live with overbite.

  3. Probably not on the NHS , you would need more than that to get it free, though you could do it privately.

  4. of course not, most people have an overbite

  5. It's not imperative that you get them, but of course if you go to an orthodontist, they will recommend them.

  6. aha i have an overbite

    and braces,

but i dont have braces to correct my overbite.

i have braces to make it easier to brush my teeth and to avoid decay..

two of my adult teeth never grew in and i got thick teeth on my upper jaw called peg teeth, which try to compensate for the missing teeth

and my braces arent correcting my overbite,

you only need to correct your overbite if its really bad, and youd have been told of that by your dentist

  7. Uhm I've had an overbite my whole life, and my sister too. and we never needed bracers. Only if your teeth are crooked, or it messes with their development I guess.

  8. only if u want to

    lol

i did couse i did not like my over bite.

    good luck
