If You were to swallow a dangerous spider would it be enough to kill You?

I hear that people swallow spiders sometimes in their sleep, if the spider happened to get into a snorer's mouth. What if that spider happened to be a black widow or a recluse, would that kill the sleeper?

You would probably wake up if one of those crawled in your mouth.  They are quite large compared to smaller spiders you might be able to swallow without waking up.  But yes, I imagine you'd die unless you had some antidote nearby.
