Do you think someone who just had a bankruptcy done and has a fico credit score of 545 will get a Brand new car approved?

it deppends... you will have to shop for a company that is willing to finance and probally have to pay alot higher intrest rates but there are places willing to finance to someone in your situation.

I wouldn't bet on it. That's a poor score and in the rare even that you did you'd be paying out your ears in interest.

Save up and buy a second hand car and invest in a bus pass in the meantime.

Auto finance is what I do for a living and the answer is it depends.

There are several lenders out there that have very good bankruptcy programs.

I would suggest you find a large dealer that advertises Special Finance and go talk to the Manager they will be able to help you.
