  1. Time was, when if you posted a local letter and it caught the 8.30 am collection, it would reach its destination by the second (that afternoon's) delivery.

Now it's more likely than not to end up in Never Never land.

  2. It should be Tuesday at the latest.

But, as it was only the next street, why did you not take it by hand?

  3. With Royal Mail? Your guess is as good as mine. I've had packages arrive from America faster than some from the other side of London. Post arrives any time between 11am and 5pm about three times a week. Packages will be left in full view on the porch and anything marked 'PLEASE DO NOT BEND' will be folded to fit through the letter box.

You could try recorded delivery... that means it'll probably make it to it's destination within a week. Or if it's within Europe, it might be cheaper and quicker to book some flights and take it in person...

  4. It should arrive in Tuesday's post, but like the others have said, that might not be the case.

  5. With our post office system who knows.

It could be anytime between now and next month.

  6. Tuesday

  7. It should arrive Tuesday morning, when the postman does it's rounds. But it's not guaranteed
