met a 40 foot plus colossal squid, what would happen?

Assume there are no other orcas around.

  1. well assume these are the circumstances...the orca might attack if hungry since it has been on its own to hunt, the orca might be overcome by the squid, but most likely the squid would fight back, but would escape, leaving the orca tired, but alive

  3. well first of all we dont even know if collosol squids live in arctic waters, If it did the orca would never leave its pod, anyway, leaving out all of the common sence,  the orca would probably swim away or the collosol squid might attack it, it has also been known to attack sperm whales.

  4. Nothing! They are not direct competitor's in the ocean. Both are at the top of the food chain.

    Maybe they could catch up for a beer at the water bar :-)
