If you are sitting in an airplane and a bee is flying around your head, never landing, is the bee flying as fast as the plane?

  1. It would be 'moving' as fast as the plane because of the air pressure and stuff but it isn't 'flying' as fast as the plane.

  6. It is moving as fast as the plane, in the same way that if you get up to visit the toilet you are moving as fast as the plane but you are not walking as fast as the plane.

    Relative to the environment inside the plane, both you and the bee are moving normally. The environment itself is being carried along at 600 mph relative to the ground.
