If a CBC is taken and WBCs and RBCs are normal is number could their be still a risk of HIV/AIDS?

If a Complete blood count (normal blood test) is taken and White Blood Cells and Red Blood Cells are normal is number could their still be a risk of HIV/AIDS?

Yes, of course.  A normal CBC would still be present until you actually developed active AIDS.  You could still be infected with HIV, and have not developed symptoms of the active infection yet- or for some time to come.  If you want to know your HIV status, you will need to be tested for that specifically.

  4. If his white cells were low I would be worried but that only happens when hiv is full blown aids. if they are hiv positive their labs could be normal until they start getting really sick. it takes six months to dx hiv.
