If a D1 school signs you to a track scholarship...?

Do you automaticaly get a full ride or is there only a partial scholarship that is more likely. I know that D3 can't give you a free ride but I don't know about D1

my high school team won ohio's state title this year.  A lot of us got scholarships.  Two guys on my team got full rides, one to pitt. and the other to OSU.  You can def. get full rides, but it's pretty rare for track.  More than likely there will be a partial scholarship offer.  You would have to perform at an elite individual level to be given a full ride to a D1 university.

Partial scholarships are far more common than full athletic scholarships.
