Question:

If a Governor is on a ticket for the White House and lose, are they still governor of their state?

I am cloudy of this sort of thing, hence the question. Yeah, this ties in with Palin because it made me think... is this a potential ploy to get her out the way so that Big Oil have an opportunity of getting at Alaskan oil? In otherwords if they lose, does Palin return to being Gov or is she out of the picture either way?

  1. Of course she is. Just like the Senators still have their office until re-election.


  2. In her absence, the LT Gov would take her place.  In case of a loss, I think she could go back to being Gov.
