If a Predator encountered a Terminator (T-800 not the T-1000 or Terminatrix models) what would happen ?

Being a huge fan of both sci fi flicks, I must say I find it intriguing if the two went at it in a dessert or jungle lol.

I think the Terminator might have a slight edge over the predator, unless im overlooking something about the Predators capabilities - do let me know fellow sci fi nuts.

i donno. i know they have made a comic of Alien Vs Predator Vs Terminator but i havent read it, i think it takes place after Alien Ressurection and u know from all versuses comics, they barly fight so i wouldnt read it.

Id say predator cause as we all know that if they are failing they´ll just blow the place apart so that would end those pesky terminators.

I can see the Predator getting intimidated if the Terminator was programmed to relentlessly hunt it down. The Predator likes to fight on its own terms and often runs away if injured.

Also Predator has a limited energy supply for its weapons and gadgets.

If the Terminator could withstand the shoulder cannon, its a 50/50 fight.

However, the environment would have a lot to do with it as well. If it were a confined area like a spaceship then Terminator would have the edge. In a open space (jungle or city) the Predator would win.

Predator is an extremely advanced hunter race, that has evolved to be the perfect hunter...but its still flesh and bones like us. The only thing I see harming a terminator is its shoulder cannon, as we saw in avp2 it can punch through a starship hull. Although, theres no way to tell what effect it would have on terminator alloy.

Terminator, is made from incredibly resistant, high strength alloys that can withstand extreme punishment. It has incredible strength but is quite slow.

I would say in real life, the predator being cocky would try and go hand to hand from cloak. Realizing the terminator cant be harmed in hand to hand, it would try a shoulder cannon blast, but the terminator would probably just grab the predators throat and crush it like an ant.

Or, if the predator is more experienced, it might use its vision to see the terminator has metal endoskeleton. In that case it could use the laser traps to outsmart it, since terminator is not intelligent. Then follow up with shoulder cannon.

Terminator wins against less experienced predators, but fails against pro hunters.
