Ok, people can't seem to understand what i'm asking (See all my past questions), so i'll just put it this way; If for what ever reason (I know it's a weird scenario), but if for whatever reason, Sa Feudal Japanese Samurai and Shaolin Monk were thron into jail for SOME REASON (Even though they lived in different countries and one was a soldier while the other was a monk), who would be able to protect themselves in prison, the Samurai or the Monk. The Samurai's swords have been taken away and both are unarmed. Lets say both are in their early thirties and have been warriors since childhood. And let me remind you that the Monk is a master of Shaolin KUNG FU, while the samurai relied only on his sword and only RARELY practiced or even knew Jujutsu, one of the only styles of classic hand-to-hand styles of martial arts in japan. And yes i know its very unlikely that these two would be thrown in jail, but its not impossible, infact, lets say the Samurai is a ronin, ok, just answer.

  1. The shaolin monks are more cleanly shaved so they will be the logical choice for the horny inmates..so based on that, I'd say the samurai dudes would be more likely to survive.  And plus the samurais always sound like they're constipated, so nobody wants that---that's taking the term "t**d burglar" to a whole new level!!

  2. The Samurai did know jujitsu very well, I do agree that their blades were what they mainly used, but he still was taught jujitsu at a deep level. And they wouldn't all of a sudden just start fighting for no real reason. You need to study up on Asian martial arts and history.

  3. dot dot dot ...

i cant seem to understand the question

  4. If you are talking about fighting each other, then the Monk would win obviously since he's trained in hand to hand combat. But if you are talking about defending against other prisoners then I think they both will be fine. Both of them are warriors and have been fighting since their childhood. I'm sure they can handle a few thugs by themselves without much trouble since their body and mind are at a different level then the other guys.

  5. Does he have a cell mate named BUBBA?Big strong feels very little pain because he also has been a fighter all his life.

They best keep their *** against the wall.

  6. Both.  While samurais do use their swords primarily, they also learn to master how to defend themselves if they were to ever:

    1. get disarmed

    2. have a sword break

Now you already mentioned that the monk is a master.  So he can naturally defend himself.

Both would wait until they are having their lives threatened before doing anything.

  7. I think the monk would be better off. Even if a samurai knew Jujutsu, he would be used to swords, and may not have been up to scratch with his Jujutsu.

I'm assuming that they're fighting each other, but if not, I think they cold both reasonably defend themselves.
