I have a long haired guinea pig that was bred with a teddy pig and I am wondering what the babies may look like, I know that there is no way to know for suer until they are born but, I want to know what to kinda expect.

The daddy pig has short spiked fur and is red, black and white. The mommy pig has longish hair with the little cowlicks in it and she is light gray and white. I didn't know that they had bred when I got the mommy, she will be having the babies in a few weeks but I can't wait to know about what they will look like.

If anyone has any pictures of this kind of mix I'd love to see them if possible, Thank you to everyone and y'all are a big help.

  1. more then likley you will get medium to long coated guinieas.

that could be just about any color as  the colorscome from more then just mommy or daddy they can come from granma or uncle from either side. but expect to have quite a few red and white guineas as this color gene is quite dominant in guineas.

  2. you could get either breed or even none of that breed, i have recently bred a rex and an abby (this is her second litter) and she had two abbys and 3 smooth haired! this is due to one of their parents! being smoothed haired, so be prepared for anything as they can skip generations

  3. My question is, why are you breeding when there are so many guinea pigs sitting in shelters and rescues?
