gets sick, will his or her U. S. Medicare and supplimentary health insurance be accepted there?

  1. If your supplimentary health insurance permits payments out of the country then maybe check with your insurance company but otherwise NO you will have to pay the doctor or hospital where you were treated and then apply to the US plan to get reimbursed.


  2. Canada is not the US,your health benefits mean nothing here. you would need to ask medicare if they would reimburse your money if you needed medical treatment in Canada  , or buy travel insurance

  3. No. Canada is a different country. You should get travel insurance. Supplementary might pay you back some.
