If a ballon placed in container leaks air after few days, will it have more or less pressure acting on it?why?

  1. The pressure would be exactly the same.

    The thing is that the pressure comes only from the air inside a container and the air in the balloon. Even though the air from the balloon goes out its still remains in the container so the pressure stays the same.

    The force acting on the balloon diminishes, however (because the balloon shrinks and has less surface for the pressure to act upon).


  2. It would have less pressure acting on it because there is less air in it. When the balloon was full, it had more air particles in it meaning more pressure was exerted on the balloon by them so air particles outside would have to counter this action to produce an overall force of zero, but since the air particles inside have decreased in number, they exert less pressure, meaning air particles outside only need to exert a lower pressure to counter the force to create a balance.
