It's one thing to ride markets up and ride them down while making a profit at the same time...BUT... if a professional banking institution were to intentionally manipulate a market~ to force financial gain, what is the difference between that and say a bank robber coming into a bank and holding it up ??

  1. The manipulation is done by respectable people in suits and they will get about a million times more loot than the robber.

And if they ever get arrested, unlikely bit if, the police officer will quietly ask them to come along. When the police catch the robber it will be with guns drawn, ready to kill them if they even twitch a little in a way the police officer does not like.

The manipulator will use lawyers and likely escape any jail time and if they do get any, it will be in near country club conditions. The robber will get 10 years to life in maximum security. And will likely end up as someone's girl friend in the joint.
