If a black cat crossed your path, is it good luck or bad luck?

I have a bet on with my step dad and it involves winning a chocolate bar ;)

I guess it depends on how you Perceive the superstition of the black cat...

But personally I say its good luck, I see a cat as a protective animal...:)

I just see it as a black cat crossing the road.

Remember, think positive thoughts.

It's very good luck for me because both of my beloved cats are black and beautiful.

I think MOST people think black cats are bad luck because they are usually associated with being Witches familiars, and most people are unreasonably scared of Witches (the unknown is frightening to people).

I'm a very nice Witch with two sweet black cats who bring only joy ... and smelly little "presents" in the cat box.

if you're superstitious it's bad luck but I wouldn't even worry about it... if you think it's bad luck and it happens you're only gonna realize the bad things that happen to you after and not the good. Or you could be so set on it you drive yourself into bad situations. It's all in your head.

What you think will happen will happen. The more paranoid you are the more likely it is to happen cuz it's all you think about.

It is extremely good luck.  Take it from a witch myself.  I studied mythology and culture in colllege.  Only a few cultures consider it bad luck, and only those in africa,  because if you saw a black panther cross your path in the jungle.  it is on the bushes on the other side waiting for you to pass so it can get you.

Most other cultures consider it very good luck!

My cat is pure jet black. I have as much good luck and bad luck as anyone else. And she was chocolate brown when we first got her.
