♥♥prince... white people can dye their hair what ever color they want because white people have a variety of natural born hair color. black people don't naturally have blonde hair unless they are mixed with another race. or use a weave.

  1. No...not really.

But notice how popular they are in hollywood.

Think about it. Beyonce, Mary J, Lil Kim (once upon a time) Many other woman of  other races dyes their hair blond, and all of a sudden, she becomes very popular. Something about that lighter color that does something to people.

  2. No. White people don't always wear their natural color either. We all are victims of self hate!!

  3. Hello,

No; no more than a white or black lady who wears different outrageous colours in her hair as part of the younger Gothic or previous punk rock generation. Personally I find women from other races that do this sort of thing just a little more exotic, s**y and individual looking.

    Cheers,

    Michael Kelly

  4. LOL No, not at all.  It doesn't mean anything but perhaps she has bad taste.  ;-)  But yeah, women in general are very conscious and often have issues with their images.  I don't think it's a racial thing for a white lady to get collagen lips, and it's not racial when white women get the Brazilian-augmentation to have a fat booty, so it must not be racial for black ladies either.  It's purely a WOMEN'S issue, not a racial issue.  And I wouldn't call it self-hate.  People have the ability to alter their appearances in any way they want to these days.  It's technology boo.  Let's all adapt.

  5. I question ANY woman who wears ANY weave...

  6. no, it's just a style choice.

I think she has bad taste if it's platinum blonde...but it depends

ok if it's between blonde and brown

  7. Nah not really...dpenz on the individual tho.

But chances are if shes dying her skin milk white, wearing blue/green caucasion eye colored contacts, trying to be some skinny hanger...and trying to be something that shes not then id start to raise an eyebrow...howeever it really depenz on the individual and her motives...if she has black pride i doubt that is self-hate dont you? c'mon.

  8. No, it means she just has a blond weave.

  9. No.

  10. no but only a few bw can pull it off like mary j blige. i personally don't see the point in them

edit: thats funny cos i dont remember seeing a bw with blond hair/weave in real life. ive see jamaicans with every colour under the sun but not that.

  11. no it just means she has bad taste in accessories and shes crazy.

  12. no, blond is just a color. it's no different then a white women getting her hair braided or corn rolled.

  13. No, she just has bad taste.  I've never seen a black woman that looked right with blond hair.  It looks so fake and unnatural.

Then again, I've never seen ANYONE that looked right with blue, purple, pink or bright red hair either.

  14. How is that fair at all? White ladies get to dye their hair, get lip enlargment, breast enlargements, buttocks enlargement, but when it's blacks it a matter of "self-hate". Your perpetuating this idiotic belief that by dressing a certain way, you are rejecting the culture or similar entities you were born into.

  15. Could be, or she wants to know if blonds really do have more fun lol

  16. no it just means they like that colo...but me pesroanlly think it looks a hot mess

  17. no, she just prefers the look of a physical trait natural of a different race.

she may hate her hair, but not herself

  18. If a white woman tans is it self hate? No! For crying out loud, she just wants to tan.

  19. Usually, yes.

  20. Yeah and because I wear black eyeliner that means I secretly wish I was a raccoon.

  21. sigh, it means she wants to wear a blonde weave lol sheesh people. Get with the program. I guess if depends on the individual, if she wear it for the reason of self hatard then that is the reason, otherwise its fun to wear. Just crazy what people come up with anymore lol Blonde hair isnt a white thing although it does seem out of place on some black girls.

  22. No.  It just means she has a blonde weave.  Latina's dye their hair all kinds of different shades of blonde and red, and most of them have about 2 inches of black roots showing, but nobody accuses them of having "self hate".  Jennifer Lopez hasn't shown her natural hair color, or curly texture, since she did Selena.

  23. Not necessarily. It's more about actions and attitudes that dictate self hatred.

By the way, some black people are naturally blond. One of my (black) cousins has naturally dark blonde hair (a la Beyonce) and blue-gray eyes.

  24. i answered a question similar to this a couple days ago about relaxed hair...

"its absolutely true. i definitely see this as a problem in our community. like im only 18 and although i straighten my hair sometimes most of the time i just wear my hair out natural. its just like a curly afro thing - no dreads no twists (h**l no. i look terrible in them and im not knotting my hair up lol ).

i guess for me it has been both a lesson learned and a statement. on the one hand, i kind of ****** up my hair early in middle school (i was 11 maybe) so i just kind of never got relaxers again lol on the other hand, i hate that white oppression can be seen in almost every facet of society including beauty. ive heard people talk about how women with darker skin are unattractive, how relaxed hair is better, smaller noses, etc. i used to talk that way until i realized exactly what i was supporting. im not mixed but white people sometimes get that impression and i would actually lie to them when i was a kid because i wanted to be mixed in reality. you know the whole "oh my grandma or great aunt or somebody was native american, white, etc." looking back now... its all so disgusting to me. there was a time in ancient history when african features were praised and we were beautiful just the way we were. european dominance in society is the root of our modern day obsession with looking more white. and h**l yeah thats exactly what it is: to permanently straighten your hair not simply because you like the way it looks but because your own natural hair isnt "good hair" (no such thing ppl sorry) is in my opinion trying to look more acceptable to mainstream beauty. and today that is "white". i would hate to know what our ancestors would think of what the world has become and how we generally see things as black people living in a white world. i actually like my hair better when its not straight. its a great conversation starter for one lol and it is a statement in my mind. more and more black women are going natural these days and i think thats awesome. it may seem like a small feat but it truly says something about how you view yourself and yes how independent you are from what the mainstream says.

all kinds of hair are equally great in my opinion its just how you work it lol i do love straight hair when its cut in a really interesting way, colored, unique. just long and straight though? i mean it gets boring. to me anyway.

obviously diversity is wonderful and i have friends who relax their hair (duh) but it is what it is. everyone’s always shocked at what i have to say because ive never dated black guys and i guess they see that as a reflection on my perspective on beauty. i just think black women have been so diminished to not only a stereotype but also certain acceptable physical standards in society. "

i think its the same with the blonde weave...not necessarily self hatred purely but a glimmer of it i guess lol also you should be careful with that. some people look a hot mess doing that whole blonde hair thing

  25. If a white brunnete women wears blonde weave, does she have self hate?

    No, its just hair.

  26. No, but not a lot of us can pull that look off, lol.

  27. Not at all.She just doesn't prefer nappy hair.
