If a bouncer takes away an ID, what happens to it after?

Well I am planning to borrow my friend's license to get into this club, my friend is 19 and I'm 18. If I get caught and the bouncer takes away my friend's license..what will happen to it? This is in Toronto by the way.

Bouncers have no right taking anyones wallet or any of their personal affects. It is unlawful theft, an it should be reported to the police department that juricides over the area where the night club operates. Retaining a lawyer and names of witnesses time of event and so forth are also helpful.

Never give your personal property to anyone who is not with the government or police.

It depends,

if the bouncer knows the person whos id it is, they will usually call them give it back and warn them.

There suppose to, give it to the cops.

They usually, just cut them up and chuck them out.

Oh toronto, this is personal experience. There was this bouncer, names Phil, and  I got caught, he took away my friend's ID card, and it was never seen again...
