  1. Beats me, but it would be awfully rude, wouldn't it?

  2. the queen wouldn't do anything at that moment, but probably, later, he/she would probably be asked to apologize, it's very rude

  3. She'd  tackle him to the ground!

  4. nothing,

they're not allowed to chop our heads off any more.

  5. Nothing would happen, but it would certainly be noted and he  would have committed social death.

  6. nothing would happen. Its just some so called "ettiquette."...

  7. Prime Minister Tony Blair's wife Cheri wouldn't curtsey to the Queen.  And when she DID, you didn't notice without instant replay (hmm, did she bend that knee OR NOT?  yeah, yeah, i think i saw a crack in the knee-cap!  By gorey SHE DID IT!) but not often.

To be honest, I believe THE QUEEN just doesn't much CARE.  Her attitude is, "I am the Queen of the U.K., yadda yadda yadda and whether you bend a knee to me or not, I AM GREAT BRITAIN."  Therefore, she doesn't need our silly accolades.

But that is why she said in the Movie, The Queen to Mr. Blair . . . "oh, I don't worry about the depth of a curtsey, I leave that for MY SISTER to worry about."  Princess Margaret WOULD NOT SIT DOWN in public until everyone else had stood for her and THEN she would sit down.  Hows that for b*lls?

  8. They would be considered extremely rude.

  9. Have you ever seen /read Alice in Wonderland?

  10. Nothing would happen right there, at that moment.  The Queen and everyone else wouldn't comment on it .

But they'd certainly be ostracized by societal circles.  They'll basically be committing social death (except with anti-monarchy circles).

You can also be sure they'd be black balled and wouldn't be invited to any future royal galas and charities.

  11. that would be me then

  12. He would be considered very rude and ill mannered and not have any friends left in his social circle.

    Social death...

  13. I doubt very much that The Queen gives a d**n one or the other.  She made it clear a few years ago that bows and curtsies are only required within the Royal household.
