I ask this because when I first got my budgies the yellow one bit me hard but they would still normally perch on my finger but now I put my finger up to them and they avoid it or nibble on it but never step on it. So is it showing that they are unhappy with it being there but just aren't biting as hard because it doesn't hurt??

  1. no, they're just curious.

  2. My budgie used to nibble on my finger , it was like she was kissing it. I was happy when she did that. It never hurt , she used to play with me like that and bop her head , your birdy must have feelings for you.  <:

  3. It's also curious, to see how you will react. So no, nibbling is NOT the same as biting where they would  to it harder because they are scared.
