  1. NO, the fare is still the same, its not the drivers or the companys fault the bus is late, sometimes theres alot of traffic and accidents, and broke down buses and bad weather conditions that affects a late bus, and if your standing load thats because its mainly rush hour or just living in los angeles

  2. No. It's just tough.

  3. lol i wish!!

  4. no because if u get on and there is no where to sit then just get off agen otherwise it' just tough!

  5. The answer to both parts of your question is unfortunately "Tough"  - as well you already know. You just TRY under-paying the driver if he's late ! ! !

  6. no ,no discount if you dont get a seat!

  7. Tough to both I'm afraid. The small print of the Company's conditions will say that they cannot guarantee the arrival of a bus on time, and you're not buying a seat ,you're just being carried.

  8. I should think that you cannot. I imagine that bus companies' rules are the same as British Rail.

If you read BR's small print, they do not guarantee you a seat - even if you have reserved and paid for one! - and they do not guarantee to get you to where you want to go !!!

  9. It is clearly noted on the bottom of every time schedule that buses TRY to adhere to the timetable but are not responsible if they are late...

standing is an option..If you don't want to stand, wait for the next bus...

  10. You should get a reduction in my view.  Why should you pay the same for a reduced service?  I used to commute from south London into the city and always had to stand.

The trouble is, the contract of carriage doesn't say you are guaranteed a seat or the service to be on time - the ticket you buy is for standing/late service and it's bonus if you get a seat and it's on time.  It's a joke!

  11. hey-you dont have to take the bus,if you do take it you accept the terms of service!!!

  12. nahh unfortunatley on every bus sign and on every timetable theres a little disclaimer at the bottom saying Buses are subject to changes in times and the above timetable is only a guide  so we kinda at the bus's beg and mercy or get a taxi lol
