  1. I'm not a one issue voter. If said candidate also wanted to continue the War on Terror and cut taxes, I'd support him.

  2. Bring it on dude

  3. maybe, it would depend on where they stand on the other issues, can you cut my student loans too?

  4. I don't know.. the amount that college cost has to pay for the teachers and stuff.. theres reason for it..

  5. Well it depends, what else is he gonna do?

  6. I think I would question this promise. Most state colleges set their own costs & private colleges have the right to charge what they want, its up to the persons paying to decide if they want to pay the price to attend a private college. I wouldn't think that a knowlegable candidate would make this type of statement.

  7. No

  8. No. The president does not have the authority to deal with matters of finance, except to propose budgets. Federal subsidies, vouchers and the like are subject to a vote in the Congress.

  9. Nope, because a president has no way to actually do that.

Colleges and Universities are ran by the states, not the federal government.

  10. They recently passed legislation(few years ago) giving the schools the ability to set their own price.  The cap the government had is gone.

However, I would be in favor of it.

  11. absolutely not.

too many people are going to college.  there are plenty of jobs that don't need a college degree that are now being held by people with bachelor's degrees.  ultimately, this means there is an oversupply of people with college degrees in this country.

while i would love to have a lower tuition rate for law school, i don't want that to turn higher education into something even more competetive without as much benefit.

  12. yes i would it is truly one of the best ways to invest in the future of our country, to make higher education affordable to all

he could do it by expanding pell grants , and adjusting the student loan program

  13. Nice wish, but how do you pay for it?  Grant more money to universities, who may just put it to athletic programs.  Are force colleges and universities to lower tuition costs, with the resultant reduction in facilities and education programs.

Money does not grow on trees.

  14. No, that would not be in my top 10 things I want the next president to do.

  15. No,

Because taxes of all sorts will rise to cover cost to which the college will no longer receive due to the cut
