I have a 2000 Civic Ex coupe and it was crashed and both airbags were deployed. If I purchase new airbags will the original airbag modules be in working condition or would I need new ones?

  1. Honda recommends replacement of the modules after deployment, however, that doesn't mean they are bad. Problem is if you decide NOT to replace it (them) and you sell the car you could open yourself up to a giant lawsuit if the new owner ever gets injuried in a crash -- even if the airbags deploy properly!

    Go thank a lawyer --
